Tzimisce
"Vasile is a bastard. He's the nightmare all little good Camarilla are threatened with. He's what scares the shit out of God at night. Yeah, he might seem like a gentleman but remember, he's Tzimisce and they're good at looking like whatever they want. Go ahead and spend the night in his haven; personally I think I'll take my chances out in the open desert." ~ Anonymous
"Have We Not Met?"
By Nikolas Vasile:
Well then, allow me to introduce myself, I am a man of wealth and fame. I've been around for a long long time..............Now now, before you dismiss what I am saying out of hand, perhaps the end is not what you believe it to be. In the movements and years of Caine's Chosen, names mean so little, but since you insist, mine is Nikolas Vasile. *wicked grin* Ahh, I see from your expression and the sudden blood sweat that has broken out upon your brow you may have heard of me. Come, walk with me through my garden. *reaches out to stop you from touching one of the plants* Be careful, like many things in our world, my pets are beautiful, but dangerous.
Now, where were we, ah yes, introductions. Yes, I am afraid all those stories you dismissed as simply new ways to frighten initiates are true. Well, most of them, they do get a bit clouded through the years do they not? After all, it was not the entire body, just the head. *another smile* But enough of children's stories. You asked about my home.
You have seen my garden, and some of my pets, allow me to show you the view. *opens the doors to the garden, and steps out onto the roof* I see you are surprised, good. Yes, as you can see, this is the roof of my building, one of the tallest in Hidden Cove, the Crown Royal Hotel. Of course a premium hotel by anyone's standards.
Ah, I see you are confused. By? *listens* Yes, I am Tzimsce of course. *listens again* Ahhh, and therein is the jest of the confusion. I seem so much more 'human' then my brothers and sisters in the blood? *leads the way back into the garden and leans in close* Appearances can be decieving. *head of visitor severed by massive blade from behind*
*runs finger down face touching it to tongue for a moment* Hmmm, much more flavorful than the last one. Whisper, efficient as always. *picks up the head and tosses it into the plants* Eat well, my pets, *is that a sucking sound as he touches one of the plants?*
*picks up a phone, dials 99* Our guest has checked out early, make sure their room is readied for another immediately.
Nikolas is the rather reclusive owner/proprietor of one of the East Coast's most posh and prominent hotels. He has made no secret of the fact that he is Tzimsce, but has not announced any alligences or made any blatant attempts to seize control of the city for the Sabbat, or anyone else for that matter.
Nikolas Vasile is a well known, and feared, name within Sabbat ranks, though many more than likely believe him to be a nightmare of fairy tale proportions, instead of an actual creature. He is the proverbial "boogyman" to the Sabbat - a name seldom spoken aloud for fear of conjuring the creature itself. And considering the mosters that apprise the Sabbat - it is no small feat to be their "boogyman".
He seems suave, debonair, even polite, and from all indications, does not apparantly modify his own flesh in the ways others of his clan choose to.
His only political moves within Hidden Cove so far have been:
Convincing Prince McCloed to name Lilian Ramsey as his Seneschal.
Making it clear that any city that considers itself 'independant' should not have a 'Primogen'.
Any vampire character that chooses to reside in the Crown Royal Hotel for more than a night or so, will likely find an invitation to meet Mr. Vasile delivered to their room. It is his haven, after all. The invitation will more than likely be delivered by his almost constant, as well as mostly silent, companion, Whisper.
To all aspiring Sabbat members - Vasile's reputation is both well documented and well-deserved. Sabbat members finding themselves face to face with the "real deal" will be expected to act accordingly.
To all others - There is nothing and we do mean nothing remotely "human" about Vasile - there is something dark, dangerous and predatory about him - but no matter how you dress up the package - the baser insticts of anyone or anything coming against him will realize that there is something completely off about him.
