Hidden Cove Natural History Museum

The Hidden Cove Natural History Museum is a co-operative program including the Smithsonian Institute, the American Museum of Natural History, and many countless private and university funded foundations.  The mission of the museum is to bring education and understanding, coupled with research regarding our physical and cultural worlds, to the people of the Bay Region.

The museum takes great pride in both its educational outreach programs, bringing in nearly 1,200 elementary students a year for on-site tours, and its contribution to the local needs of Hidden Cove University and the social organizations that invite museum staffers for public and private speaking events.

With an ever changing line-up of exhibits and an endlessly expanding archive catalogue, no single tour of the museum will do it justice.  Contact the museum main office for the operating schedule and come learn with us.
