Welcome to the HOTTEST MOST HAPPENING Night Club to hit Hidden Cove this decade:
The Main Vein.........
"Welcome to the Grand Illusion... come on in and see what's happenin'.... pay the price get your tickets for the show... The stage is set... the band starts playing.... suddenly your heart starts pounding... wishing secretly......"
Yah, well you get the idea.
The Main Vein is the newest nightclub in Hidden Cove. It welcomes Kindred and Mortal alike, so be careful and watch your fangs. (Though with the goths that come and go, you might well just blend in.)
The bartenders, Eli and Luke (played by PCs) are more than friendly and welcoming, but just as we welcome mortals, we also have a few working for us, so mind your manners, folks. There are also a few waitresses - including Abbie Ellison (PC) wandering around to take your order. So let the drinks (nothing special, just plain ol' liquors, like the mortals drink - NO BLOOD of any sort is served here) flow freely and watch your manners, it is rumored that many of the city's "officials" frequent this particular hotspot.
The Vein is a showcase club for up and coming bands, with an open stage on Thursday nights. So bring your gear, or just your talent (we have gear we can loan yah) and show your stuff. Who knows, you might find yourself opening for the house band on the weekends.
The cover charge is modest, anyone can afford it, and the bouncers only show favor to the Kindred guests (any vampires that go to the head of the line will be immediately admitted, no questions asked - they just know your vamps and no, you can't know why).
Closing time is about an hour before dawn, last call will give you 15 minutes to get your last drinks and down em before you are ushered on out the door.
My name is Tommy and I am part owner of the Vein, and the (sometimes) drummer of the house band - Rebellion. I'm usually wandering around somewhere, but if you can't find me and you have questions please look for:
Andrea Roberts, asst-manager or
Nyah Blue, manager - just returned with a new look
Now for the description:
The doorway to the club sits recessed in what appears to be a long blue tunnel. On each side of the brilliant red door are two round windows painted over solid with black ultra light shedding paint giving the knowing eye a picture of two puncture marks in an artery. In one window a small red sign pulses blasting the word "Main, Main, Main, Main" into the night. In the other blackened window the red sign pulses "Vein, Vein, Vein, Vein" in a rythmm known quite well to those who are captivated by the pulsing of kine's pale blue jugulars against their pinking flesh. Grey hops down and swings the entrance door wide, smilingas he beholds the huge cavernous room that is the club. Blue air conditioning ducts run back and forth across the ceiling looking like pulsing veins as they carry the cold air that will make the customers a little more comfortable in their cold environment. The walls are painted black, brass railings encompass the balcony that encircles three fourths of the giant room gleaming in the dim area lights that shine down just enough to encourage any kine that may wander in to stay. Climbing the spiral staircase to the balcony floor he looks down over the blood red shining dance floor to the raised platform that will house the band. Acoustics have been tried and tested and the sound carries well. Across from the platform is the bar, where unsuspecting kine will be able to get their favorite drinks, making their blood all the more flavorful for the Kindred that lurk among them.
-this is a copy of the post (with only minor changes to spelling and grammer & a wee bit of color, just cause it's FUN! lol) made in the yahoo group, Vampire The Masquerade II, by the gentleman that designed and built the nightclub, Thanks to G. Graham Grey . Going to let this description stand on it's own.)
