Assamite

"I always admired his ‘kill first – ask questions later’ approach to everything. Not very effective unless you’re a Giovanni; but the guy did stick with his routine." ~Mercutio Blackwell

Some might know Devlonir as the former Scourge of Kasymm, the champion of the indepent cause. His Near Ebony skin showing how ancient this Assamite is. Shunned by his own clan, he found a home in Hidden Cove. His downfall started when, forced by heavy injury, he drained all the blood of a beaten Lupine. After this, his Beast became stronger and stronger in him with each passing night. He left the position of Scourge, leaving it to his former partner Mariah McMann as. He returned a few times thinking he had conquered his Beast, which resulted in him striking down Mariah twice before he decided to leave Hidden Cove forever.

The local Ravnos might know, that he returned the night of Mariah's death. Seeming calmer than he has been since he drank the Lupine. Sadness and guilt overtook him when he saw her destroyed body, as he felt she would have lived and he would have been dead if he had not left his position as Scourge. Although he offered his life in payment, Falcon Walker choose to spare him and tell him to live with this guilt for all eternity. Devlonir left the Ravnos with the following vow:

"Like an Angel of Death he will fall down from the sky to strike down all those that are unworthy of this world. His companionship will be as dangerous as his hatred. He is cursed to be allone, the lone stalker in the night that strikes fear to all.

I am the Angel of Death. I will judge all and my word is final. Gehenna is near and I have to prepare the world. If there are only the strong we will not die. If there are no weak to feed the hungry Ancients they will not come to enough power to kill us all. Fare thee well all. Next time we meet I might be forced to kill you."
