IMPORTANT ST NOTE:

Inclusion on the following pages does not automatically mean the character is still alive or that they are being actively played in the Cove. All previous characters are included here - deceased or not. To discover whether or not a character has met their final death you will have to go to that individual character's page (by clicking on their icon on the following pages). As for whether or not they are currently being played - join us and you'll find out.

ALSO - The information on the following pages should not be considered PUBLIC knowledge by any stretch. You should know if your character has this knowledge or not - if you aren't sure - Contact The Storytellers.

Kindred

The Camarilla is relatively new in its foundation in Hidden Cove. While there have been many attempts in the past to organize and direct under its banner, most of the time it failed like a blond in a calculus class. There are plenty of growing pains ongoing but there seems to be some honest support being generated amongst the Primogen.

The Sabbat The Sabbat have always been loosely organized in Hidden Cove and that's putting it nicely. It has always been hinted at that should the individual Sabbat members and migratory packs ever find something or someone to whip them into a cohesive sect, they might become a force to be reckoned with. There are rumors that "something or someone" has arrived.

The Independents are an enigma in any city, but in Hidden Cove, a city once ruled by an "Independent Prince", they are as common as other clans and sometimes more so. All of the former residents of the Cove have been welcomed under the banner that is the Camarilla, the question becomes if these Independent clans and Kindred will live amicably with the new regime or seek to hold fiercely to their independence no matter what.

The Anarchs have been the one group that has thus far risen up to show their distain for the new regime, or so most beleive. The truth is slightly more obscured by rumor and supposition, but there are those that believe that the Anarchs were quietly pushing their own agenda and recruiting members under many of the last Princes, they have simply become more organized and bold in more recent nights.

The Werewolves have long resided peacefully within the confines of Twin Falls Cumberland National Forest. They have worked peacefully alongside the residents of the Cove. A treaty established long ago has worked to the mutual benefit of both Kindred and Lupine. Will the Camarilla be able to uphold their portion of this treaty, or will the Lupine be yet another foe on the horizon, awaiting their moment to strike out at the other supernatural citizens of the Cove?

Ghouls are a utterly unique and interesting creature altogether. While still retaining mortality - many of them are much more kin to the Kindred than either would like to admit. (This group was formerly found under Mortals)

Mortals are some of the most dangerous and underestimated residents both of the World of Darkness, and Hidden Cove, although more recent events have opened the Kindred's eyes to this new threat on the horizon.

Others or Unknown Who or what else stalks the streets of Hidden Cove. What other as yet unseen or unknown dangers wait in the shadows to strike out at the residents of the Cove and it's supernatural inhabitants?

Six Degrees - Have you heard of the theory of "Six Degrees of Seperation"? From wikipedia.com: Six degrees of separation refers to the idea that, if a person is one "step" away from each person he or she knows and two "steps" away from each person who is known by one of the people he or she knows, then everyone is no more than six "steps" away from each person on Earth. In Hidden Cove - that degree of seperation is far far less - so take a look at how some of our residents are connected and what they think of each other and being connected.

Avatar Guide

Each character in Hidden Cove now has their own "avatar"- with their name and a small picture of them - this is both for identification as to their status in the WoD and for convience should the STs feel the need to move things around.

On the information pages for the businesses and establishments in HC - you may find character avatars at the bottom of the page - this is to indicate who you may come across working in those establishments or whom you may need to contact about npcs in those establishments. Each avatar on an establishment page links to the information page for that particular group of "Residents of the Cove".

Here you will find a "guide" as to what each avatar background "stands for". This should be considered "OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION" - which means if you want to know it in-character - you're going to have to go through the steps to find out.

All Primogen Members and High Ranking Camarilla (or other sect) Officials, will ALWAYS be played by PCs. Otherwise you will either have to explore the wiki or the game to know who is being played or not. Also not all NPCs are available for just ANYONE to interact with - if you are playing in the game and have a question as to what npcs are or are not available to interact with alone (meaning you doing their speaking in your post - instead of waiting on another player) - ask the STs.

The STs may decide at any time to use or approve for use any of those characters not being actively portrayed by current players in the Cove. - Which is part of the reason that returning players may not simply be allowed to pick their characters back up and resume play. Questions as always should be directed to the STs.

Allies

Since there are pages being created for all of our player characters in Hidden Cove, we felt we should take a moment to speak about "Allies and Enemies" and how they effect both the players and the characters.

First of all "Allies" is such a loose term when it comes to the Kindred (let alone the rest of the population of Hidden Cove) and very rarely does it mean that these should necessarily be considered "friends" - it is more a term to refer to those who have worked with each other in the past toward common goals and for the most part, could relatively be expected to work together again, or at least not actively strive against each other (most of the time).

We contemplated adding an "enemies" list to these pages as well - then decided that this would be far too arbitrary and ever changing to keep up with.

Those listed as "Allies" then on any character's page - are only those that have proven time and again that they will either actively strive toward the same goals as the character AND not actively thwart them on a regular basis. Since for some characters - this list might be rather extensive, the only ones listed are those that have been "movers and shakers" in Hidden Cove long enough that their influence truly makes a difference when it comes to being an "Ally".

Also, we have not listed those that some might believe to be their "allies" when in fact, they are very likely something different. Thus you will not find any of the Kindred among the allies of any mortal - because to truly be considered an "Ally" they would have to be looked upon with much higher regard than most Kindred place upon most mortals.

(ST Clairification -- The "movers and shakers" comment is not intended as a slight toward any player or character - hopefully we have all been doing this long enough to understand that of course, every player's actions and reactions have a "ripple" effect" upon the city as a whole, but that there are those whose very presence or movement immediately causes - not just ripples - but waves - for good or ill - whether they like it or not.)
